It takes 4.9s for this this machine to reach from 0-60 kmph which is lower than its competitors KTM RC 200 which takes 3.8s and for Pulsar RS200 its only 4.09s. When it comes to top speed Yamaha reaches up to 124.5kmph. This bike is not fast but most fuel efficient too in its segment and gives close to 42.1 kmpl.
Recently Yamaha has launched an improved and upgraded version of YZF – R15, known as R15 version 2.0. Yamaha has revamped certain features of YZF – R15 like the Drivetrain unit, Engine Control unit or the ECU, both the frontal and posterior tyres are wider, inculcation of split seats, a long aluminum swing arm to reduce the anti squat effect, LED taillights and new and efficiently designed cowls.
